Implementation

  • Lessons are linked to both the National Curriculum and the Cornerstones projects followed by each class/year group.
  • All lessons are carefully planned to ensure that a broad range of art media and techniques are explored each year, with attention being paid to development and progression of knowledge and skills.
  • A range of media and resources are available for use in lessons.
  • Children are encouraged to explore, express, develop and evaluate their own ideas.
  • Children’s’ work is be systematically recorded, discussed and evaluated.
